An Authentic Madman
“And what is an authentic madman? It is a man who preferred to become mad, in the socially accepted sense of the word, rather than forfeit a certain superior idea of human honor. So society has strangled in its asylums all those it wanted to get rid of or protect itself from, because they refused to become its accomplices in certain great nastinesses.
For a madman is also a man whom society did not want to hear and whom it wanted to prevent from uttering certain intolerable truths."
-Antonin Artaud

The Album 's Collective Consciousness
To survive a fracture of the mind is to watch the scaffolding of the shared world collapse. When the boundary between the ego and the collective unconscious dissolves, the psyche is plunged into a raw, unedited landscape where time ceases to be linear and becomes a series of high-voltage states. For twenty years, that landscape remained a private crypt—a vast, silent exile spent navigating the crushing quiet of a world that commands the wounded to simply vanish.
At the center of that silence sat a single anchor: a hundred pages of text typed into the dark during an initial psychotic break. It was a message in a bottle sent from the epicenter of a shattering mind, capturing the precise frequency of an escalating terror before the conscious ego went completely under. It was not written to be a commodity; it was written to prove that a human being was still there.
This compilation is the unsealing of that bottle. When the silence was finally broken across a frantic, three-year furnace of solo creation, it was a necessary exorcism. The five albums, the visual landscape of the film, and the raw verbal architecture of the podcast were forged not to find an audience, but to build a fortress.
To write, perform, shoot, record, edit, mix, and master every single frequency alone was a deliberate directive of survival. The meticulous, exhausting mechanics of the bedroom where this was all created—the routing of cables, the leveling of frequencies, the slicing of film—served as a literal containment grid. It was the strict discipline required to tame a volcanic psychic fire, turning raw manic energy and schizoaffective chaos into structured, un-compromised art.
What you hold here is a twenty-year map of a mind reconstructing its own architecture. It moves from the suffocating introversion of the evening hours, down through the terrifying, unedited panic of the shadow, and out into the defiance of a fully integrated voice. It is a document of absolute self-reliance. It is proof that a shattered psyche can not only rebuild its own house, but can weaponize its scars to run a brutal, clear-eyed diagnostic on a broken society. The voice is sovereign. Step into the grid.
As the Artist put's it -
"We don't need Prophets to lead us out of the darkness. We need Student's of History to remind us who's keeping us in the dark. Artist's are supposed to be the Shaman of the Tribe. If the Tribe is to be healed, the Artist must dance and sing while in a trance, and he must live his life out loud."

The Blue-Collar Diaries - 3 Years In The Furnace
5 Concept Albums, a Podcast and A One Man Show
Justin John Scheck is an independent Kansas City-based multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and author who creates raw, uncompromising transmedia art. Rejecting mainstream commercial formulas, his work documents a human nervous system clawing its way out of systemic alienation toward true spiritual and social sovereignty. Through a gritty DIY lens, he bridges deeply personal psychological exploration with sharp macro-level commentary on modern American working-class culture, utilizing different storytelling formats to bypass institutional gatekeepers.
At the core of his musical output is a massive, five-album conceptual trajectory that systematically maps Carl Jung's Individuation Process. This unbroken sonic journey evolves seamlessly across five distinct phases—The Evening Years, The Sparrow's Morning War Cry, Get In Line For Now, A Peasant's Voice, and Fascist Addict. The sequence acts as an audio alchemical text, transitioning from the claustrophobic electronic defenses of the isolated Hermit persona, plunging into intensive shadow work to weaponize individual vulnerability, and eventually ascending to form an objective, sovereign witness to society's collective psychological decay.
This psychic investigation into late-stage consumerism and systemic alienation expands directly into the spoken word with his broadcast mini-series, A Peasant's Voice (Podcast). Framed entirely through an ongoing Jungian lens, the biweekly audio show serves as an explicit confrontation with the Collective Shadow of the American political and economic machine. By evaluating modern corporate oligarchy, media-fed culture wars, and manufactured societal outrage, Scheck uses the podcast format to deconstruct how collective mass psychosis preys on vulnerable individuals who have traded their inner spiritual autonomy for economic survival.
The narrative foundation of this entire psychological universe remains grounded in his published literary work, Memoirs Of A Bread Man. This semi-autobiographical novella maps the early stages of psychic fragmentation, capturing the raw, baseline trauma of the modern American worker operating under the heavy weight of generational ghosts, PTSD, and systemic economic insecurity. The written text captures the initial clash between a dehumanizing capitalism and the individual ego, laying bare the profound internal unrest that forces the psyche to reject social conformity and begin its grueling path toward spiritual integration.
This exhaustive cross-platform journey finds its ultimate cinematic and psychological culmination in his feature-length film, A Peasant's Voice: The Divided States of The Poor Working Class. Written, directed, and scored by Scheck, this raw independent film synthesizes intense musical performances, podcast-style analysis, and raw spoken-word monologues into a unified, transcendent whole. Representing the final stage of Jungian individuation—conscious surrender and structural wholeness—the film draws on his own real-life twenty-year struggle on the social safety net to offer a deeply empathetic, unified olive branch designed to heal deep systemic social divisions.
